DELAVAN – Betsy J. Chapin, age 95, of Delavan passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan. She was born on May 16, 1928 in Delavan to Edward and Viola (Paska) Gant. Betsy was united in marriage to Earl Chapin on July 20, 1947. Betsy worked in sales for many years at Bradleys in Delavan.
Betsy is survived by her four daughters, Linda Bradley, of CA, Jackie (Robert Carlson) Haeft, of AZ, Cheri Haeft, of Delavan, and Tammy (Andy) Picard, of AZ; a son, Edward Chapin, of Delavan; 8 grandchildren, Kim, Josh, Tom, Melinda, Keith, Jayme, Kristin, and Phil; many great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Betsy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; sister, Nancy Richardson; and three son-in-laws, Thomas Haeft, Robert Bradley, and Jerry Haeft.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
