Wayne W. Long, age 70 of Darien, WI, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at Mercy Walworth Hospital. He was born March 2, 1943. The son of Walter and Iola Long. Wayne was united in marriage to Patricia Finley in February 1978. She preceded him in death in September 1998. Wayne was a Brazzer Forman at Getzen Company, in Elkhorn, WI, for 48 years until his retirement. He is survived by his daughter, Jane (Mark) Stiles of Darien, WI, two grandchildren; Leiha (Brian) Johnson and Meghan (Scott) Ryan, two step-daughters; Charlene (Brian) Staples of Delavan, WI and Melinda (Donald) Ryan of Darien, and five step-grandchildren; James, Timothy, Patrick, Adam, and Vanessa, ten step-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Karen Maduas of Janesville, WI. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, sister, JoAnn, and his wife.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, WI. Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00pm on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Monroe Funeral Home. Interment will follow funeral services on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Darien Cemetery.
