William E. Nance, 73, of Elkhorn, Wi., passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wi. He was born September 14, 1938, in Rhinelander, Wi., the son of Arnold and Stella (Brandton) Nance. William married Noreen (Dean) in 1960, in Eagle River Wi. William was Veteran of the U.S. Military serving with the U.S. Air Force. He was co-owner, with his son Jimmy, of Nance Tree Service in Elkhorn for many years.
He is survived by his wife Noreen of Elkhorn; 3 sons, Jimmy Nance of Elkhorn, Charlie (Marcie) Nance of Missouri, and Eddy (Cathy) Nance of Wausau; 2 daughters, Cindy (Troy) Alix, of Stanley, Wi, and Tammy Hubbard of Delavan; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; 7 sisters and 1 brother. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 granddaughter, 1 sister and 1 brother.
Memorial Services will be 12:00pm Saturday June 30, 2012 at the Delavan Legion Post 95 Hall in Delavan Wi. with Rev. Laura McLeod officiating. Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan Wi. is assisting the family.
