DELAVAN – William P. Zentner, age 94, of Fitchburg formerly of Delavan and Oshkosh passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at home. He was born on August 5, 1927 in Oshkosh to Kurt and Elizabeth (Zeller) Zentner. William was united in marriage to Muriel Nelson on June 26, 1948 in Oshkosh. William (Bill) was a partner in Kurt Zentner & Sons Plumbing and Heating in Oshkosh for many years. Bill belonged to the Oskkosh Master Plumbers, Wisconsin Plumbing Heating and A/C Contractors Association, South Side Business Mens Club, Eagles Club, KC Club, St. Vincent Maintenance and Finance Committee, East Central WI Plumbing Heating and Cooling Contractors Association, and Local 134 Plumbers and Fitters.
Bill enjoyed swimming, something he did as a teen in Oshkosh and as a Life Guard. Bill and his wife, Muriel, thoroughly enjoyed traveling the world, visiting England, Italy, Russia, China, Australia, and New Zealand. Bill enjoyed watching his kids grow, have families of their own, and guiding them along the way. He was a lifelong Packer fan and critic and longtime season ticket holder.
William is survived by his five children, Randal (Ann) Zentner, Kevin (Kathy) Zentner, Jillaine Sikora, Tracy (Terrence) Junker, and Robin (Debra) Zentner; 10 grandchildren, William Zentner, Brandt Zentner, Andrew Zentner, Nathan Zentner, Jeremy Zentner, Patricia Turner, Jenny Sikora, John Junker, Katherine Junker, and Sara Zentner; 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, Walter Zentner.
William is preceded in death by his wife, Muriel; his parents; brothers Kurt and Donald; sisters Doris Pasono, Jane Barnard and Ruth Bradford and son-in-law, John Sikora.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials can be directed to the charity of your choice.
