Al Seemann

DELAVAN – Al Seemann, age 85, of Delavan passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn.  He was born in Germany on March 21, 1941 to Rudolf and Olga (Kuhn) Seemann.  Al was united in marriage to Karen Wilson on January 25, 1964 in Milwaukee.  He was a plant manager at Swiss Tech in Delavan for many years.  Al was a longtime member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and was very active with the church and with St. Patricks Catholic Church in Elkhorn.  He served on the Delavan Police and Fire Commission, Delavan City Planning Commission, and was a troop leader for many years for the Delavan Boy Scout Troop 328.               

Al is survived by his wife, Karen; two daughters, Monica Flesch and Teresa (David Galbraith) Seemann; two sons, Robert (Charla Cunningham) Seemann and Michael (Kushlani DeSoyza) Seemann; six grandchildren, Caroline (Joe) Flesch, Alexander Flesch, Auden Galbraith, Eero Galbraith, Isabella Seemann, and Joshua Seemann; four sisters in Germany and their families, Hedwig, Maria, Gertrude, and Notburga; and a brother-in-law, Russell (Delores) Wilson. 

Al is preceded in death by his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan.  Visitation will be held from 11:30 A.M. until the time of the funeral on Tuesday at the church.  Burial will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery.  Memorials can be directed to the Kettle Moraine State Park.
