DELAVAN – Anna M. Halverson, age 91, of Delavan passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn. She was born in Arland, WI on January 31, 1933 to Matthew and Anna (Ehm) Bauer. Anna was united in marriage to Melvin Halverson in Cumberland WI in 1949. They farmed in the Arland area for many years. They then moved to Chicago where they raised their family before moving to Delavan in 1973. Melvin passed away on May 6, 2016.
Anna is survived by her two daughters, Darlene (Michael) Martyka, of Mundelein, IL; Eilene Luebker, of Richmond, WI; a son, Randy Halverson, of Richmond, WI; two sisters, Cecelia Salgado, of Mt. Prospect, IL, and Betty Hudson, of Amery, WI; brother, Frank (Elaine) Bauer, of Rolling Meadows, IL; sister-in-law, Virginia Bauer, of WI, seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin; two brothers, Matt and Michael Bauer; brother-in-law, Jerry Hudson; and sister-in-law, Jeanette Bauer.
Private Family Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Burial will take place at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Delavan.
