DELAVAN – Joanne E. Rynes, age 93, of Delavan passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Ridgestone Village in Delavan. She was born in Elmhurst, IL on January 15, 1931 to John and Estelle (Moll) Woodruff. Joanne was united in marriage to William G. Rynes. She was a parishioner at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan for many years. Joanne lived at Westshire Farms at the Lakes. She had many close friends and enjoyed playing bingo and helping with activities. Joanne was a very hard worker and loving mother and friend to many.
Joanne is survived by five children, Joseph (Cindy), William, Mary Jo, Nancy, and Jennifer.
Joanne is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; and her daughter, Kathy.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhorn. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to St. Croix Hospice in Delavan.
