Brett Surges, 56, passed away on May 25, 2026 at Mercy Health Janesville Hospital.
Brett was born and raised in New Lenox, Illinois where he attended Lincoln-Way High School. After high school Brett attended the University of Illinois Chicago where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, which he turned into a long career. After college Brett married his wife Tonya, and moved to Williams Bay, Wisconsin where they raised their three children Hannah, Jacob, and Colton together.
Brett is survived by two of his three children; Hannah and Jacob Surges; parents, Janet and Bob Surges; brother, Chad Surges. Brett is preceded in death by his wife, Tonya Surges; son, Colton Surges.
Cremation has taken place, and the family will hold a private gathering at a later date.
