DELAVAN - Cheryl Mae Cushman, 71, of Delavan, Wisconsin, formerly of Belmont, Wisconsin, died on Sunday, May 8, 2016, peacefully in her home surrounded by family. Cheryl was born on November 10, 1944, in Platteville, the daughter of Cletus and Vera (Nicholas) Cushman. Cheryl graduated from Belmont High School. She married Doug Speth on July 6, 1963, in Belmont, WI. They were blessed with three children and seven grandchildren. Cheryl worked at Aurora Health Center for fourteen years. Cheryl was an avid sports fan and loved the Cubs, Bears, and Badgers. Her family was the light of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. Cheryl is survived by her brothers Jerome Cushman (Fred Nuernberg), Nick (Marilyn) Cushman, her children, Marty (Maria) Speth of Delavan, Shari (Jack) Wedig of Belmont, Andrea (James) Krahn of Richland Center, and her grandchildren Jennah, Jaida, Jasmin, Tyler, Jordin, Audrey, and Morgan. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Constance Foley.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva Street in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the church on Saturday.
