DELAVAN – Dorothy Ann Radford, age 83, of Delavan passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Willowfield Nursing and Rehabilitation in Delavan. She was born on March 9, 1932 in Chicago to Arthur and Adeline Schlueter. Dorothy was united in marriage to Robert Radford on November 15, 1957 in Chicago. She was an administrative assistant at Miller Sessler Ford in Chicago before becoming the librarian at Dan Cook/Marshall School in Elk Grove Village, IL. Dorothy was a past President of the Ladies Auxiliary at Assembly Park in Delavan, served on the board of directors at Assembly Park, belonged to the Delavan Lake Improvement Association and the Delavan Service League, and was a longtime member at Luther Memorial Church in Delavan.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert, of Delavan; a daughter, Carol Radford, of Chicago; a sister, Elvera Coburn, of Chicago; nieces and nephews, Connie (Bruce) Forster, Janet Coburn, and James Coburn; and a great nephew, Christopher (Missy) Carco. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law, Charles Coburn.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Luther Memorial Church, 910 E. Geneva Street in Delavan with Rev. Elisa Brandt officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva.
