Edward O'Kane, 'Eamon', 82, of Elkhorn Wi, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at his home. Eamon was born in Straban, Ireland, on August 18, 1929, the son of Edward and Annie (Faulkner) O'Kane. Eamon was the 4th Eldest of 12 Children. Eamon came to the United States from Ireland in 1957 and settled in Chicago IL. He married Wendy (Burke) in 1962. Eamon was an electrical contractor until he retired to Williams Bay, WI, where he and Wendy ran and operated a small motel in the Bay, until retiring again and living in Elkhorn. He will be dearly missed by his devoted wife Wendy and loving Children, Kevin O'Kane Sr, Betsy ( Steve) Carlson, Jackie ( Ninos) Gewargis; his Grandchildren, Wendy ( Jim) Kavanaugh, Kevin O'Kane Jr., Jade O'Kane, and Amanda Gewargis; his great grandchildren, Lennie O'Kane, Archie O'Kane, Rosie O'Kane, Conner Kavanaugh, and Jesse O'Kane. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends here in the US and in Ireland. Private family services will be held at Roselawn Cemetary Chapel in Lake Geneva, WI, on August 25, 2012.
