Eric C. Daniels

Now called to a new spiritual adventure in February, Eric Christopher Daniels was born to JoAnn and Jewell L. Daniels in 1981 at Fort Riley, KS while Jewell was giving back time to the Army for assistance through medical school & his residency.  Although the weather had been murky, the skies cleared, as if the angels were proud to present the gift that was Eric to us all. From the beginning, Eric was a soft spoken person to whom people and animals were naturally drawn.  He and his brother, Jewell, were inseparable.   The family soon moved to New Jersey where Eric's dad would open his medical practice and they could all be closer to family.

Eric was passionate about sports and excelled at soccer, which he played at both Newark Academy and Columbia HS.  After graduation, he followed his brother to Wisconsin so that they could begin their adult journeys together. He worked at various jobs while earning college credits, eventually finding his niche as a supervisor in food services transport.  Always striving to be fair, he never asked a worker to do something he wouldn't do himself, if called upon.

Eric loved puzzles and writing poetry.  He mentored youth through the Boys Club of America and tried his best to be friendly, generous and nurturing in his day to day encounters.

Eric leaves behind his parents, JoAnn Logan Daniels and Jewell L. Daniels, Jr, MD, his brother Jewell L. Daniels, III, his aunt Leanora Logan, and a host of cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his adoring grandparents Florence C. and Joseph L Logan, MD, and Eva Boykins.

We all struggle with human frailties, but those who knew our Eric could truly feel that they had been touched by an angel.
