SUGAR CREEK – James F. Murphy, age 74, of Sugar Creek passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home. He was born in Milwaukee on January 11, 1941 to Harold and Ruby (De Long) Murphy. Jim worked for many years at Woodstock Die Cast. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a big car enthusiast.
Jim is survived by his three children, Kimberly Ann (Abraham) Brower, of Elkhorn, Jacqueline Marie (Courtney) Giller, of Delavan, and Phillip James Murphy, of Madison; four grandchildren, Michele Burkheimer, Nicholas Brower, Lindsey Giller, and Caitlin Giller; two great grandchildren, Brenna and Wyatt Burkheimer; and two siblings, Cathy Bishop and Harold “Dick” Murphy. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Delores, Darlene, and Geraldine.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan.
