DELAVAN – Jean A. Dibble, age 79, of Delavan passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at The Heights Assisted Living in Evansville. She was born on April 12, 1944 in Lake Mills, WI to Ray and Marion (Torhorst) Uglow. Jean was a graduate of UW- Platteville. Jean married Arthur Dibble on June 13, 1970 in Watertown. Art passed away on January 21, 2012. Jean worked as a teacher in Burlington and also worked at the Aram Public Library for many years. She was also an active member of Delavan UCC.
Jean is survived by her sons; Scott (Tracy) Dibble of Janesville and Ted (Vicki Burson) Dibble of Baraboo; grandchildren, Jacob and Molly; siblings, Don (Judy) Uglow, Mary Lou Hooper, and Norm (Joyce) Uglow; and many nieces and nephews.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Art; and brother-in-law, Chuck.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Delavan United Church of Christ, 123 E. Washington Street in Delavan. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
