DELAVAN – Jean M. Dorsey, age 88, of Delavan passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Golden Years Nursing Home in Walworth. She was born in Sheboygan on June 5, 1926 to Harry and Esther (Corson) Hinkelman. Jean was united in marriage to John Dorsey and he passed away on November 10, 2002. She was very active at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and also volunteered at Lakeland Medical Center.
Jean is survived by a daughter, Linda (Bob) Goodfellow, of Round Rock, TX; two sons, Tom (Barbara) Dorsey, of Walworth and Patrick Dorsey of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Jean Dorsey, of Delavan. Jean is preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; a son, John; a sister, Ruth; and a brother, Richard.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva.
