Joan S. Neubauer, age 83 of Delavan, Wi., passed away Monday October 10, 2011 at the home of her daughter in Delavan. She was born December 30, 1927 in Delavan, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Walsh) Scheurell. Joan married Richard Ward and he preceded her in death. She then married Paul Neubauer on January 7, 1967 in Delavan, he passed away on April 17, 1995. She was a U.S. Veteran serving as a R.N. in the U.S. Air Force. She was a R.N. at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn for 15 years. Then went into Home Care nursing. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan. Joan was a humble, selfless, dedicated and loving mother to her family.
She is survived by her daughters; Jeanne (Larry) Henriott of Tn., Donna (Glen) Miller of Az., Debbie Neubauer of Ca., Ann Ward of Iraq, Mary (Mike) Gonger of Wi., Amy (Todd) Rogers 0f Wi. Her sons; John Neubauer of Ca., Rich (Kathy) Ward of Wi., Peter (Vanessa) Neubauer of Wi. and Christopher (Kathleen) of In. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 1 sister, Joyce (Harry) Larsen and 1 brother, Pat (Patricia) Scheurell. Daughter-in-law, Joyce and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Richard and Paul and 1 son Jeff.
