Ronald A. Klohn

Ronald A. Klohn, of Sheboygan, died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center at the age of 73. He was born on September 28, 1937 in Milwaukee, the son of Edwin and Marceline (Hartmann) Klohn, and grew up in Menomonee Falls. During his teen years, he was proud to have received the rank of Eagle Scout, and to serve on the grounds crew for the Milwaukee Braves. Ron received a Bachelor's Degree from UW-Milwaukee and went into the field of Accounting. He was employed at Curative Rehabilitation Center for many years while residing in Wauwatosa with his family. Years later, he moved to Sheboygan to work for the Visiting Nurses Association of Sheboygan County until retirement. Over the years, he volunteered for various non-profit organizations, and enjoyed playing golf in his free time.

Ron is survived by his four children: Steve (Kelly) Klohn of Waukesha, Jeff Klohn of Muskego, Cari (Jim) Snyder of Germantown, and Kathryn 'Kat' Klohn of Hartford; grandchildren: Andy, Andrea, Calynn, Amery and Stefan Klohn, Joe, Korey, Makenzie, Edie, Rakim, Peter, Jacque, and Kristin Klohn; Kailey and Ally Snyder, and Gavin Snyder; great-granddaughter, Daisy Klohn; his brother, Ken (Joyce) Klohn of New Jersey; and former wife, Donna Klohn of Pewaukee. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends in Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Karri Klohn; grandchildren: Marceline, Tiara, and Jason; and his parents.

Visitation will be Tues., April 26, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with funeral services at 3:00 p.m. at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland. Burial will be help privately at St. Paul's Cemetery in Menomonee Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be used for the Boy Scouts of America.
