DELAVAN – Sherrie L. Young, age 70, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at home in Delavan. She was born on March 11, 1954 to Robert and Helen (Neumann) Leffler. Sherrie was united in marriage to David Young on May 31, 1979. She enjoyed quilting, painting, and taking care of others.
Sherrie is survived by her husband, David; four children, Robert (Tina) Williams, of Delavan, William (Becky) Young, of OK, Darlene Young, of OK, and Rebekah (Trevor) Blackstone, of Genoa City; 9 grandchildren, Gabi, Matthew (Lexx), Kenzie, Katie, Shelbie, Kris, Ryanne, Nick, and Hunter; two great grandchildren, Danny and Maddie; and siblings, Roberta, Barbara, and Judy.
Sherrie is preceded in death by her parents; a grandchild, Cheyenne; and a sister, Karen.
