Thomas E. Robbins, age 56, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family and hospice around him. He was born July 11, 1955 in Wisconsin, the son of Ross and Helen Robbins. Tom grew up on his grandparents farm in Fort Atkinson and attended a one room school in the area. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1974. He also attended U.W. Whitewater and MATC in Fort Atkinson. Tom married Betty Lou (Rockwell) Davis on June 26, 2004. He worked for Planar in Lake Mills for many years, then drove for Jefferson Car Auction Place. He also took over the duties of the family farm when his father became ill. He enjoyed playing his guitar in church and with his friend Mark at the Singles Group in Coldspring. He was an avid scale car collector and rode his motorcycle since he was 8 years old. He was a movie buff and enjoyed traveling with his wife, Betty, to Branson, Michigan and Duluth, Mn.
He is survived by his wife Betty of Whitewater; his sister Laura Tindell of Columbus, Wi and her son Tim Tindell. His brother and sister-in-law Lyle and Karen. Also many neices, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Sunday, October 23, 2011 at United Church of Christ in Whitewater with Rev. Phil Milam officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30pm to service time at 2:00 at the church on Sunday. Burial will be 11:00am Monday at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan.
