DARIEN – Wayne “Buck” Brockwell, age 62, of Darien passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. He was born in Brinkley, AR on August 11, 1952 to John and Lillian (Davis) Brockwell. He was the owner and operator of Buck’s Asphalt and Sealcoating for over 30 years. Wayne was united in marriage to Sandra Hammerstad on November 11, 1988.
Buck is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sandi; a daughter, Crystal (Dannon) James, of Germantown; two sons, Ronald Nickels, of Whitewater, and Robbie Nickels, of Edgerton; four grandchildren, Adriana and Austin Nickels and Aidan and Ava James; two sisters, Paulette Brockwell, of Walworth, and Cindy (Bob) Lee, of Sharon; two brothers, Harrel (Karen) Tidwell, of Delavan, and Paul (Dawn) Brockwell, of Delavan; sister-in-laws, Pat Brockwell, Marlene Brockwell, Donna Hammerstad, and Lavonne Wheeler; brother-in-law, Hjalmer Hammerstad Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. Buck is preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Bennie Tidwell, James Tidwell, William Brockwell, Jerry Brockwell, and Lonnie Brockwell.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
