DELAVAN – William “Bill” C. Jackson, age 65, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at his home in Delavan surrounded by his family. He was born in Appleton on August 22, 1951 to Earl and Lois (Welson) Jackson. Bill was united in marriage to Joan Ashauer on July 17, 1982 in Appleton. He most recently worked at Vision Plastics in Delavan. Before retirement, he was a member of the American Chemical Society and American Quality Society. Bill enjoyed astronomy, WWII history, war games, and spending time with his family.
Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joan; two children, Brian (Mandy Schlumpf) Jackson, of Mundelein, IL, and Kimberly (Dan Kelley) Jackson, of West Allis; his father, Earl; three brothers, Joe (Leslie) Jackson, of Appleton, Jerry (Kathy) Jackson, of Appleton, and Dan (Lisa) Jackson, of Appleton; and many nephews and a niece. Bill is preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral Services will be held at NOON on Friday, March 31, 2017 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan and from 11:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. on Friday at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Appleton at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 7, 2017.
